I dunno about you, but Yzerman is retired, so I'd be thinking of Dominik Hasek...if I was thinking Avs, I'd be thinking Patrick Roy, or Washington, I'd be thinking about Petr Bondra. So if we are including players from our past...I will bring up Pavel Bure <- if it weren't for him (really), we'd never have made it OFFENSIVELY into the the Cup finals in 93-94 season.

Um I never said current players in the first post. I know Yzerman is retired. Hello most people on fnk have been saying either bure, linden, lidster mclean. 3 out those 4 are all retired. Doesn't matter they are still the faces you think of when you think Canucks.

Same with Yzerman. Do you honestly think of Hasek's team. No its always Yzermans team and always will be until an ovenchkin or crosby joins them.

Patrick Roy for the avs ya thats a good choice most definetly. Thats the idea i'm going for.

Same with Mclean. No Mclean and No bure means we lose to calgary. Even with Linden playing well
