Company fun days?

I am part of my social committee at work, and I am planning the next event.

What are some fun things that your work has planned for you to do? What would you love to do for a fun day?

i guess it depends on what everyone likes to do. I have worked for places that have gone bowling, white water rafting, had a BBQ and played Volleyball and baseball, hiking and picnic, when i lived on the island we went tubbing down the river. I guess you have to see what peple like to do and take it from there
a night at a play or the casino, could be fun?

Well they say "Here's a fun job! Go out to Vista Cargo in the freezing cold and load a Russian Freighter where the Crew doesn't speak English and you don't have the proper equipment. HAVE FUN BOYS!"


But seriously, the only fun we get is the annual Christmas Party. :(

Camping. We have a small staff, and don't do much during the spring/fall as the majority of our staff are students and enjoy the outdoors. And enjoy booze.

other maybes:
rock climbing
yoga
paintball
other things you can incorporate team building into to look good with the boss.

Mini carnival (including staff families and kids)
Magic show with appetizers
Hired in massage therapist w/aromatherapy

The thought crossed my mind for two seconds to see if Jim would allow a wet t-shirt contest at the Plaza.

This company keeps beer in the community fridge, they only like events that seem to include alcohol. So it is going to have to be impressive.
