A lot of people that have just started partying in the last 2 years or so somehow went from happy raver to making fun of plur and acting like bitter junglists within a couple months because all the more oldschool people did it


whatever happened to doing lots of e and massaging your guy friends in a tent at apex, and then having a mental debate with yourself whether or not that borderlines homosexuality? hahaha

it's called the turnover rate within the rave community, along with the rush of new ravers coming into the scene around newyears, hallowe'en, apex etc.. those from the following year realize that there is more to life then the copious amounts of drugs and slutty outfits at the next rave.

it happens to every scene, not just here.

^ I'd have to both agree and disagree with you on this one. The more materialistic this world gets, the more sluttier people at these parties will be. As the saying goes, if you got it flaunt it? Sex sells, so why do you think the latest rave advertisements had either chicks making out on the title page *cough*kiss*cough* or a celeb on the Freeze? Wouldn't this promote the type of "atmosphere" one would expect to show up to?

As far as the drugs are concerned, you would have to look more at the age demographics. You may have a lot more of the younger adolescents experiementing earlier, as well as them stopping usage earlier. Afterall, there is more to life than copious amounts of drugs...there is copious amounts of booze too :)

It's not really a rave thing... my buddies and I were "raving" before we ever knew what one really was. Listening to music, partying on E and hey.. those lights look trippy when you're high. Oh, hell yeah... massage from a pretty girl while some dude's off in the corner staring at the visuals on his Playstation. Now whenever I drop the odd tab or ten I get bored and unenthused. My body's used to it, the drug itself has changed, I'm getting older. Meh. Time to take up skiing.
