come play offs I'd go as far as to say Smyth = Iginla. not during the regular season but definitely in the play offs.

^ definetly see where you're going with that. So much heart. The way things are going for the Oilers though it isn't likely they are going to make the playoff's.

You know whats scary the team seeded in 2nd may or most likely will face either the canucks, flames or wild who will be in the 7th seed.

No team in my opinion wants to play the wild. Especially now that gaborik and dmitra together. Gaborik has been a monster since his return. Imagine if he played all seasojn. He may have had a 55 goal season

On the other hand if he really wanted to stay in Edmonton he would have accepted the 5.4 mill the oilers were offering.

I don't think he is a player worth 5.4 million. Than again look at bertuzzi I don't think he deserves that much either.

I think 4.5 though for Smyth is adequete.

Nah I think he's done with edmonton IMO.

I also think Edmonton have reached a turning point where they'll start to be a bottom feeder, sorry to say.
