I need PLASTIC WRISTBANDS
I know this is the wrong section to post in but i figure more people read the threads in the Lounge section as opposed to the classified section. please forgive me but this is of complete urgency:
I NEED 200 PLASTIC WRISTBANDS! does anyone have ANY ideas of where i can buy them? I need them for our after-grad party. please respond ASAP if you have any suggestions. thanks! sammy

You try calling a hospital/medical supply store? They would see that stuff or call one of those rave promo companies, they use them too.

cuz i know you can get them but they need to be shipped from chicago or something? wtf? my dad works in that whole promotion industry thing, and that's what he said. but i'm SURE there has to be at least one local company that does it cuz partees have plastic wristbands and what not...

They used them at Slinky (Pure Prodcutions), Twisted, Slipstream, etc.
Give them a call, I'm sure they ahve shitloads of wristbands they never use anymore. For New Years, Twisted was using 3 year old wristbands. Some promo companies use these non-tearable paper/fibre ones with an adhesive strip. They would be cheapest I think.

yeah i've been doing a little "Research" on the net about them and i know the wristbands you're talking about. it starts with a T. they probably would be cheaper but i think the general concensus is that plastic wristbands are the way we wanna go.
should i just email azim or something and be like "heeeeeeeey...how bout those old wristbands??!!!"

Why not? Email Azim or Jason or whomever. I'm sure they have some they would sell.
I think the paper ones are Tyvek (sp?) and work best IMO. LOL! See if you can get a deal on those old 'Sunkissed' bands that are floating around. Good luck.

see, since cece (meeh) works @ playdium...ce has access to lots of those tyvek wristbands cuz we use them for like birthday parties...so yeah there's like boxes and boxes of them @ admissions so depending on when u need them, maybe we can work out an :BB:"accidental":BB: pick up of a box or sumthin...we haf orange, green, blue, purple..and iono...but yeah. wuahaha...icq meeh if u interested! cuz i work today..meaning tuesday or saturday next and saturday's hard to do it.
