cashcow, I'm reading the Outsider in French right now (after reading the english version), it's beautiful

Anyways, "Snow Falling on Cedars" by David Guterson is beautifully written, some of the imagery is just gorgeous so I recommend that.
Sungoo suggested "Hamlet" and I second that, "Hamlet" is one of Shakespeare's best works.
I'm currently reading "A psychoanalysis of Freudian Psychology" it's overwhelming but interesting.

stabmyhead lent me this book called
'you are worthless' I thought it was hilarious.
I think it's definately worth reading when you're down.

but as for dumas being better in french, that's too bad as I hate french...
either way, I still recommend the count of monte cristo as I think it would be very difficult to dislike that book.
