Also, the sound of a lawnmower and the smell of freshly cut grass makes me think of summer.

here's a funny story about an ice cream truck:

When my sisters were little, Candy lost her first tooth and with her trade off from the tooth fairy, bought her and my other little sis, Sara, each a treat from the ice cream truck.

Well, Sara thought this was great! so the next time she heard the ice cream truck from down the road, she yells, "Candice! The ice cream man's comin'! Quick! Pull out another tooth!"

... very resourceful that sara is. LOL

Did that yesterday. Hit up M&M's and BBQ'ed some burgers and an assortment of kabobs. Sooooooo good!

I wore flip flops and rolled up my jeans today. I was actually pretty cold all day.. I just couldn't unroll my jeans or change my shoes..

But definitely the first boating day of the year always means spring/summer has arrived! So much fun on the weekend!!!

I finally rent in a place where my bedroom has blinds that work.

This means summer is not gonna ruin my sleep. This means less anxiety caused by weeks of "daylights saving time."

My solution for when summer heat invades my room: kick off the comforter and roll over.

Another sign summer's almost here: Saturday afternoon, brown kids toking in the park near where i live, 200 metres south of white young adults smoking meth. :(

I am so looking forward to fall and winter.
