You already mentioned my faves!
PNE 'coaster! Actually named one of the top 10 coasters in N. America (around '93) by the N. American Roller Coaster Association. It's claim to fame? AIR-TIME, baby!!!! Air-time! (the time you spend floating off your seat) Wonderland has some great coasters!!! Mine Buster rocks for full-on molar-rattling wooden-track speed! But, my all-time fave is the Wilde Beast! MAH-ssive air-time on that ride!!!! Once checked out a triple-loop coaster @ Theresienweisse (Oktoberfest) grounds in Munchen. It kicked ass!...but, I was really drunk... Frosty (wants to holler on some rides!!!!) |

^Ya know?....
THE one and ONLY time I've ever been to the W.E.M., with the family, I wanted to accomplish just ONE thing: ride the DeathCoaster! That's _ALL_ I wanted to do. I didn't even care about visiting the relatives! I just wanted to go on the machine that killed people! I was r e a l l y chill about it, too. Took my time. Wandered w/ the family. Looked at shit I cared NOTHING about.... Did the obligatory "ooh" and "aahh" at the waterworld. 'till FINALLY! We got to the amusement park/rides area!!! I could see the red rails snaking all over the place! I was SO stoked! But, there were no trains going by. I walk towards the station, and, just near the Death Loop, a few guys were tinkering around. Yup. Yup. Fucking typical: the machine was down for repairs, and wouldn't be open, again, for days. Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Never did get to ride it! >=/ Frosty (major coaster fan) |

All those coasters are for bitches.
Real men ride the mouse. Now that shit's scarier than davies @ 3am on a sat. But seriously the best coaster I've ever been on is the Bat @ canadas wonderland in T. I was 10 so I don't know if they even have it anymore but you would get strapped in backwards, shit was nuts. My fave ride of all time though is the spaceship @ wonderland, it was exactly like the pirate ship @ playland, but its a spaceship, so I figured it was the same deal, got on expectin some pirate ship shit, fuck was I wrong, that shits all goin back n forth like the pirate ship, then its suspended mid air so you're hanging upside down, I seriously damn near shit my britches, i thought that shit was malfunctioning, started doin full loops, that was fuckin nuts. The rainbow @ playland gets honorable mention too, that shit was sketchy as fuck. |

You didn't happen to notice the ride went in a full 360 for the minimum 15 minutes you stood in line, watching the damn thing going around?!? And that stinkin' Rainbow ride is lame, at best! But, you _DO_ score points for mentioning the Wild Mouse. Fuck you, Jim, but, this li'l ol' simple coaster is one of the most nerve-wracking in existence! ...and Blunderland, t. has an updated, 4-seater version of the Wild Mouse, now. A little bit smoother, but, still freaky. Frosty (knows his rides) Last edited by gnosis; Apr 17, 07 at 11:20 PM. |

I'm scared of rickety ass rides that should have been shut down in '78. Like the swings @ playland, 1/2 inch childrens swingset chain I wouldn't even chain my dog with. That's scary.:S |

All I know is that I badly want to visit the Six Flags in Cedar Point, Ohio. I'm a coaster nut and haven't been on nearly enough yet!
A couple of my faves though are The Bat at Paramount Canada's Wonderland, Timberhawk at Enchanted Village, and for mostly nostalgia I still love Space Mountain. |
