Pass Ports: Whats the word on the street? Your experince?

So im out to get my pass port... whats the word on the street, whats your advice?

I though I would wait until the crazyness died after spring break, but now I'm hearing its even worse since ppl are out to get their pass ports for summer vacation.

Apparently people are lining up at 4am. Homeless ppl are lining up and selling their spot for $50. Apparently at the Sinclair Center they are issuing out numbered tickets and an approx time to come back, but dont know if thats for all pass port offices.

From the web site there is are offices Down Town (Sinclair), Surrey, Abbotsford (just opened up), and Richmond.

Im thinking of heading to the Richmond one at about 6-7am... I hear its not that busy since a lot of ppl dont know about it. Or will it be just as bad?

I worked across there a few weeks ago and the richmond office wasnt terrible, if you get there before 7. After that the line up got pretty bad. Mind you this was also when it was colder/wetter outside so that may have changed some

My advice would be to show up to the line with a $10 rock and barter.

we went to richmond, got there at 530 out by 910. richmond is the place that is always mentioned in the news as the best, but you do have to be there early. bring a chair.

also, fill it all out online before you go. if you do that then they give you two tickets and you go to the counter with whichever is called up first. shanon kept her second ticket and gave it to an old women at the back of the line, not sure if it worked out for her but its a good idea. there should be a second line for the elderly.

I heard the Vancouver office is issuing tickets so you don't have to physically wait in the line anymore..... just make sure you are there when your number is called!
