i have not been able to find the program that i want to copy online and i do not want to pay the $300 for the program. so if anyone has a helpful answer i would really appreciate it.

Maybe you should narrow down the scope of the question. Asking if you can copy coptyrighted software is a little like asking if a regular car can drive off road. Off-road is a rather broad term, as is copyrighted software.

I find that pretty much everything major either has a beta or a free trial now.

yes you can copy copywritten software.

how is a different thread. use nero, make a cd image (to your hard drive) then burn the cd image off of your hard drive onto a cd/dvd.
