I would probably go the steak dinner route. Stuffed mushrooms and garlic prawns to start, filet mignon (Australian station beef would be an added bonus, I miss good beef) with cheesy garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus.

I love how having 'cop friends' makes it like you're so protected from people being mean to you on the internet. You know there's lots of real crime happening out in the world that 'cops' have to deal with because it's more their actual job. Because you have a friend who is a police officer it doesn't mean that they are working at your beck and call and actually it would be an ethical dilemma for a police officer to negate their real job to help out their friends.
