you know whats kinda weird, here in halifax and most of the east coast....boxing day shopping happens tomorrow.......everything is closed today. can't wait to come home.

i bought so muych stuff, was at the mall at around 7:50. got crazy after 11, then i left.

I feel really bad for the ppl who had to work in the stores today, supper long shits, ppl knocking stuff over, jam packed.... and ive never even worked in retail to know. I kinda think we should do what they do in Halifax. That way everyone gets 2 full days off. I only went out today to find 2 main items before they went out of stock.

I went out to buy 2 items.
and came home with those.

lucked out with a dress for xmas parties ( jan. xmas parties for us industry peeps )
and a few select items from mac with a gc.

aritzia was decent enough. managed to get a dress on sale...which i would have paid full price for.
lucked out with no change room or purchase lineups.

the other stores were shit. the boxing day hurricane came thru and made me remember why I wait untill the spring stuff comes out...

it's waiting or online shoppiing for me.

i was watching news tonite and they interviewed a couple of shoppers at metro(is it still called that now), and they asked them what they got and how much they paid.

one chick said " i got this sweater for 97, regular 108. the other chick said " i got this jacket and paid 80, regular 85 :oh:.

the reporters like that wasnt much of a discount, chicks like i dont care, i really wanted it. those discounts were really hurtin, 5 bux off, cheap ass store.

I bought speakers for my computer online at bestbuy on christmas eve! The stuff went on sale at 8pm. Much easier to buy online then to face the crowds at the mall.

drove right past the malls on the way to the cold beer and wine store. i got my beer, went home and drank it. so glad i didn't bother hittng up the malls.
