Okay let me be brief, our fridge was empty and we needed new drink. So a backpack and a walk out our Soi (street) later, j3rk and I made a little stop at our the local 7/11. Hilarity ensues..

Khao San road is as white as Maple Ridge

Khao San is very tourist. However the general area is very fairly priced. I have befriended a solid group of Thai who took me to a bar in the Khoa San area which is less tourist and more local for drinks. So yeah the main drag is Farang but thats not to say the district is entirely.

White for Thailand? been here 2 weeks and no we didn't rush up to the beach. Enjoying the city actually. Looking to stay longer then our visas currently allow. Networking and such is a blast, having a riot. Will beach up soon. Met some Malaysian DJ's at Culture One and will be visiting them at our 60 day exit/return marker.

interesting that you digg the city, i wasnt a fan of bkk at all...ko-shan obviously is fun,along with pat-pong and site seeing the palace and all of that.....i think i told you before but really look into catching a nite train up to chiang mai or,at least up to ayyutaya wich is the old capitol and has some amazing ruins. there is a guesthouse in ayautaya called 'tonys place' wich is hands down THE finest guesthouse i have ever stayed in...EVER, in all the places ive been. LOLaphyne stayed there and loved it as well...

and yes...oh yes...i AM EXTREMELY JELOUS OF YOUR GLORIOUS SUPPLY OF MY BELOVED "ELEPHANT FIGHTING BEER"
