When I was talking to guys about my night.. I asked, would you rather have 400 people in? or 200 hundred drinking?

ofcourse they said, 200 people drinking.

So the scenesters are going to come in, thinking they're listening to a new version of Justice. and they wont drink.

I'm not insulting your night or anything, i'm just saying that you should've looked for a better venue.

these "scenesters" were there for a very "trendy" band...i just like the pic cause the way they rolled around on the floor was pretty groundbreaking at the ball..the peeps who packed the place in droves for DJ nights usually drink the place dry actually ;)

PS: Call me Jaded if you want, but raves don't close at 3am and generally aren't held at licensed bars. The fact that you just invoked PLUR just cemented that you're the next WHP. I'm not jaded, it's just that raves DON'T HAPPEN ANYMORE in this city. It's all clubs and afterhours now. Only things that are even considered "raves" are the legal shows at MLC or Coliseum, or outdoor parties in the summertime. Suffice it to say, people would rather go to a bar where there won't be 15yo kids tweaking on drugs and you're allowed to drink. The rave scene is dead in this city... not because the parties suck but because there are none.

I say again. There are no raves at the Balmoral, and you're hardly the first to throw a party on main and hastings.
