I was booked for an event with them and they even said that they wanted me to get some talent for the show. I did so and spend the next few weeks leading up to it passing out hand bills and hanging up fliers around town, I remember receiving the contracts and it stated that we would be getting dj gear and everything would be supplied.
A week before the show i was asked to bring MY gear to main and hastings, a hotel that I have heard many bad stories about. they said they could not rent any gear. I refused to bring mine and thats when i got the boot. and I didn't miss out on much. Another issue is that i was double booked 2 nights before at another event, which i was going to promote at. I had a lot of trouble selling tickets because of the location, and I drove by it a few nights before and i didn't want to stop the car. I took no credit for these "events" than what was deserved, I fail to see what i did wrong besides not giving in to bring my equipment. I spoke to potential talent about the keoki show and it was almost set in stone untill we devorced, all misunderstandings where cleared up. these girls had no idea about local djs and They asked me to hunt around. so piss and moan about how i ruined you and how i lie all the time to other promoters, Stop calling my phone and harassing me and stop with the threatening emails. good day and <3 wishbone
