They used to call PG 'Little Vancouver.' It's a sleazy city full of meth and they haven't quite caught on that it's not good for you in excess.

I started raving there when I was a teenager and it was wild even then. I remember once at an afterparty that I mentioned to this dude that I had some killer herbal gel-caps for this really bad cold sore he seemingly had. He then informed me that he had been shot in the face by his cousin for selling crack.

The fact that we drove a car on a golf course and didn't even get mentioned in the paper is a sign that it's a town with issues.

I walk through Pigeon Park twice daily, not dangerous in the least. I'm way more scared of hicks and skids in the boonies.

That's because Surrey has pretty much the largest RCMP Detachment in Canada. Whalley has more Officers per square km than anywhere else in Canada.

The Toronto PD has also been on a massive recruiting drive and I can think of an article in the Toronto Sun that mentioned them adding 150 new Officers in the last 6 months.

Toronto isn't as dangerous as you think. There's only some noteable areas that are sketchy. But even then, that's only at night. You can skip through Moss Park, Regent Park or through most parts of Scarborough unmolested during the day. But at night you couldn't pay me to wander down River St / Dundas St.

I've worked at a few vancouver clubs.. i can agree with the no. 9 position, i havent seen too much huge violence.. *knocks on wood*, i've heard of a lot of shootings. but thankfully, havent seen any.
And now I work at a club in vancouver's shit district.. granville st!

regina has areas of terrible povery, and native reservations are close by.
native street gangs are a big problem out there.
