Dj'n in the bush

So im looking to do a little camping this summer but with one catch... im bringing my turntables. Yeah were going all out this time. We want to bring our Dj equipment with us and have a wicked time pumping beats in the bush.
So my question is: How many watts generator should I bring with me into the bush to power my two technics 1200's, 1 DJM600 mixer and 1 home style bookself sterio? Currently I have a 3000w genny, I wonder if this will be enough?
Any tips from people who have done this before?

for the solstace parties.. I think they had 40,000 watt's
I've helped do the dirty work for one of the parties, we had massive scafolding.
found a space in the wack, away from campsites, but still very much in the forest

Small party, they went all out, lights everywhere.

Had the cops come, they were cool and impressed with our setup and noticed we were very mature about the situation.

But this is back when raves were barely legal and not filled with a bunch of retards. So as long as you have a responsible, sober person there to talk to the cops. you should be fine. We played them good, if they had only known we were all insanely high on mushrooms. :)

Honestly if you're just powering for personal use you could probably just use your car battery as a genny. I've seen a couple of low-grade parties thrown like that.

Well I dont think 40,000watts is even a consideration considering there will be only 6 - 10 adults there having a good time doing a little camping and fishing. Im talking small here. This isent a "party" just a few friends tripping out in the bush listening to Trance and Hard House till the sun rises.

I have done this many time, using various size PA systems and home systems. 3000 is more the enough. I've run a small Pa, a couple lights and tables off a generator that size before.

just don't rent a small rusty crappy generator. Go overkill. if you got no power then your in the dark with no music and it kills the vibe.

lol I own a 3000w ACDelco genny brand new! Dont think it will fail. Plus im gonna test run everything first to make sure.
