It was undersized. 1 giant hallway with about 20 tv screens in the middle facing the walls that displayed some of the popular games such as the GTA series, Civilization, SIMS, and Spore...
SPORE? What the? how can this game be in an exhibit before it's own release? The only section that was fully realized was the Spore section. With the exception of a projector displaying a grid of screen play from Doom, every other game had a couple of cutsie pictures and 1 paragraph write ups. In comparison to the comic book, or graphic novel exhibits, the video game exhibit was a joke and more of an advertisement for Spore. The difference in the quality between exhibits was huge. the comic book section actually showed history and powerful pieces as their examples of the art form. There were pictures of a cartoonist's trial runs as he developed an idea or character. What was interesting to me was watching the idea progress. Like, I actually learned stuff! The video games on the other hand had nothing resembling that. The closest thing was a showing of 3 different versions of GTA side by side. But without a proper explanation, the lamen wouldn't know the difference. I wanted to see every version of mario side by side and compare how much the scenery has improved in each mario version. I wanted to see stuff on Motion Capture technology, artistic improvement on the human body and image. 3D stuff and how it gets applied to games. In my opinion it really didn't have any artistic value. DISCLAIMER.. the rest of the exhibit was good. |

He has also shown his disdain for the Sox :)
I got a place 15 minutes outside of the city, in Waltham. I am going to be working in Watertown. I had the option to get a nice apartment by the World Trade Center over looking the harbor but it is a bit of a pain in the ass to get to work. Every time I see Fenway I can't take my eyes off of it, its a sweet ball park. |

How was that being dumb? It was just a matter of getting lost, taking a wrong turn. Its not like Im a bad person, was trying to do anything like actually traffic drugs or hurt people...just the way things turned out. The situation was completely out of my hands...yeah I was drunk, too drunk, I fell asleep in the car while my sober friend drove. Im sure you've had some bad situations fall on your life at least at one point, and ones that you didnt deserve. Shit happens and sometimes to the wrong people.
