Do you like yours as a simple snack? Or do you beef yours up like a meal with eggs and stuff?

I don't think I have a single favourite way, it just depends on what's in the house.

Top 3 include:

Plain toasted bagel w/plain cream cheese, smoked salmon, lettuce, lemon juice, finely sliced onion

Toasted cheesy jalapeño bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese.

Toasted plain bagel with plain cream cheese and avocado, and salt & pepper.

I rarely eat bagels outside of NY.

It's always such a let down anywhere else.

I like a plain bagel lightly toasted with cream cheese.

Occasionally, later in the day I may go with an everything bagel toasted with a little butter on it.

I'm pretty fond of the Tim Horton's cinnamon raisin bagels as well, but I like mine lightly toasted with strawberry cream cheese.
