When you see flyers posted around poles.. what size are they?

I'm also looking for some cards that I can put in stores to advertise. What size would they be?
Never had to order any prints before and my partners in this party are too busy even though im the one working 2 jobs.

who is gonna do your printing? ask them for their paper sizes.

Yeah, cards are usually around 3x5 (basically one size below standard pictures, which I'm pretty sure are 4x6) but I'm not sure about posters.

Why don't you just go to a poster pole with a measuring tape?

depends if you're talking about posters, flyers or what. but the standard paper size for flyers is 8.5 X 11.

Maybe if you're folding your flyer a bunch..... but Handing out 8.5x11s to people on the street? People will throw them out sooner than bother to try putting them in their pockets. Then they're not flyers so much as litter.

well i dunno about the exact size but i did some postering for Futuresound in T.O. and we'd just take two posters and a roll of tape. hold the two of the posters with edges together and wrap the tape around them.

bam, promo right around the entire pole. you can get pretty quick too.
