This isn't what disturbs me, because they obviously won't be able to do that.

What bugs me is that they would be given the authority to do these searches randomly on whoever they wanted to.

exactly, it gives them more power to make examples of people through random searches to install fear as deterrence. Haven't they learned that this type of hardline stuff doesn't work against the majority of downloaders or for controlling filesharing?

I don't think this will pass though, we'll see what happens. I'll probably send a few pointed letters heh.

LOL actually i agree with most of their policies, as im a pretty conservative person myself, and obviously alot of other people do too. thankfully not a majority though haha. actually the main reason i did was to help ensure i have a job when i join the military. cons = larger forces and more work for me in the future.
