Anyone else on the new Facebook layout yet?

What do you think of it? I think it has is good and bad points. I find the interface to be cleaner, and it seems to render a bit quicker. At the moment it's definitely different, but I'm sure the look will grow on me. the one thing I don't like is the new wall. I guess it is more of a "wall" now, but I'm not big on it at the moment. Basically, it's now a combination of the news feed and the old wall in one.

The new interface is supposed to be rolled out to everyone this week, but you can check it out by signing into Login | Facebook

kinda like it... slicker when people have a fuckload of stupid apps. less lag time.

That's the one thing that pisses me off the most. The layout I can live with. The fact that apps doesn't slow shit does is way overdue. But wall posts/status updates/friend approvals all together doesn't make much sense.

Bad news for you Kraig: you can turn off the new layout now, but that'll be gone soon.

Switching back to the old layout doesn't help anyone. FB will put this live in 2 or 3 weeks anyway and then there's no way back so better get used to it now...

New layout = "hidden" apps by default.

The new facebook is definitely less cluttered and more consistent than the old one. Finally, no more endless scrolling in bloated user profiles. Thanks guys!

Only that stupid ad column on the right is a bit of a downer... :\

it has it's up's and down's. obviously they are still in development because it's super chunky and not nearly as well polished at the current layout. I don't really dig the mesh of the wall/news in my profile view and the massive thumbnail is way lame. I hate having big images in my news. plus all the right columns have been flipped to the left which always takes some getting used to. enjoy the photo's tab, very sleek. they moved all additional applications to their own tab, another good move. big laughs at the "more ads" link.

all in all 6/10 but with some polishing an easy 8/10

For the first year all people could talk about was how cool facebook was and all the neat features of the site.

From then on all I ever heard about it was complaints about how annoying/addictive/pointless/bloated it's been getting.

And yet people still wonder why I'm not on it.

K i clicked it, and it didn't change my layout...so i was like "what new layout" then i saw a link at the top of my old lay out and checked it out.....

and frankly...i enjoy it alot better!!!!

get it used it.....

its like getting used to facebook again.....like when you first got facebook.
