I remember doing an exercise for scuba diving where you have to take the reg out of your mouth and exhale as doing it, put it back in and exhale to clear the reg.

I inhaled and almost drowned.

your brain releases massive amounts of chemicals when you are dieing or about to die. much like you have shit in your lungs and your body sneezes, there is a procedure that the body goes through to deal with what is happening to it.

so if you are burning and facing impending doom your body shuts down all pain instantly but as soon as your scream the hot air collapses your lungs and you just fall over, remain conscious for a few seconds and die.

Drowning is a bust of adrenaline and a stuggle to find air for a few seconds if its cold you gasp, cough and more water goes in and you just accept it and shut down.

drug overdose is the way to go because with certain drugs there is no anxiety so its more peaceful. Just make sure you take enough so you are not stuck in the middle so you realize it. no fucking around with suicide involving drug use, go all the way or not at all.

I would recommend a small dose of ketamine then a massive shot of the strongest heroin you can find. then just lay there.

one of my favorite form of suicide is going on anti-depresants when you dont need them and shooting up your office/school then shooting yourself when the police are closing in. you will not only get your point across but you will also be on the cover of Times magazine

When I was 8 I got caught under a dinghy (huhuhuhuhuh. "dinghy") at my parent's lake cabin and would've drowned had one of the people visiting at the time had not jumped in and pulled me out.

I think I've met the guy like twice since. The second time was about six months ago, where he was chatting with my parents and turned to me and said "Hi, you're David, right? You may not remember me..." and I interrupted him and told him that he was the guy that pulled me out from under the dinghy when I was a kid. He was pretty amazed I remembered his face. I kinda was too. Weirdest thing was when I saw his face for the first time I even remembered him being 20 years younger.

I can't for the life of me remember what he looks like right now, but I'm certain it'd flash again if I saw him in a crowd or something. Near-death stuff has a weird effect on the brain.

Hmm... Well I've almost drowned 3 times... The last one was when I was sucked under a log jam... Luckily the adrenaline kicked in and gave me enough strength to pull my own ass out... The only thing I've realized is that peaceful or not, I refuse to go easy...

That being said... I've always had a feeling that I will end up dying by drowning somehow...

Whichever way I go I only hope it is without fear. At the moment of death, when the DMT kicks in, pain and all sense of the physical is completely gone. Emotions, and your psychological state, still remain for a few critical moments.
