drown or burn?

If you had the choice on your method of exiting this life.. but the choices were burn alive in a fire or drown, which would it be?


i've heard burning isnt so bad after the first second or two as your nerves are all gone and you wont feel a thing.. and i've heard that after the first big gulp you just kinda float away when drowning..


its a tough call, but im gonna go with drowning..

drowning, it would be quick.

there are alot of places on your body that would have to burn before you die.

drown its supposed to be the most peaceful way to die- after the initial shitty aspect of course

well the drowning one was. a friend of mine almost drown in a pool and he said that after the first gulp or two he just felt euphoric. no real panic after that.

the burning one could probably be mythbusted.. i dont even remember where i heard that one

also - burning.
when you suffocate you are alive for sometime after. you are still conscious. with burning you would pass out from the sheer shock. you wouldnt feel anything after.

smoke inhalation may also come into play in a fire.. probably get some of that drowning euphoria if you can't breathe

i don't think you can do that if you are set on fire, im pretty sure that blinding pain sucks and keeps any zen thoughts from easing you into whatever afterlife

3 summers ago on the shuswap i was napping on a floatie in the middle of the lake, tied back to the houseboat with a rope around my foot so i wouldn't float away.

someone decided to play a joke on everyone out floating and move the boat away. because of their mass houseboats dont stop very quickly.
