and one more thing my friends dad is a bus driver and regrading the door he said it doesnt work when the driver activates it before he comes to a full stop- so in that sense i know it wasnt my fault!

well, it happened to me about a month ago. this chick on the bus thought i was staring at their legs. I WASN'T! and every time i looked up she gave me a disgusted look. it was an impossible situation.

is that one of the doors that you have to wait until the green light above is lit? I've seen this happen before where ppl are trying to open the door and they yell at the bus driver " BACK DOOR" and then ppl yell "Just push the door!" but even when they are pushing the handles they can't b/c the light isn't green. I didn't know that either until I heard ppl arguing about it.

Sorry that you had such a shitty day...I have just started taking transit after 3 straight years of having a car. It does really suck lol

This drives me MENTAL. There's even a sign printed right in front of your face that says to stand aside and let passengers exit first. Ugh.

Also, when I'm on the inside seat and I need to get off, turning your legs slightly sideways is not helping me. I don't understand why it is such a problem for you to simply stand for 10 seconds and let me off so I don't have to climb over you?!

K, the touch-doors don't work. This isn't the bus driver's fault all the time. If the green light is on, there's SFA they can do about it however, and yelling and screaming at them accomplishes nothing.

The new set of low-rider busses and trolleys are ass. Why does translink have to keep test-piloting projects that are ineffective at best and counterproductive at worst?

Touch doors are the worst design idea they've had since the iMac bus shelters that block neither wind nor water.

One thing I can say is that the TTC is a shitload better than Translink.

By a long shot.

Same if not more creepers and dipshits ride it, but with a Bus/Subway/Streetcar every 5 minutes it's easier to avoid them.

Aweee gawd. Speaking of FEET! This dude on the subway had decided to rest his legs on the seat in front of him, so he left his sandals on the floor while resting his bare feet on the seat in front of him and his feet smelled sweaty and unwashed (for weeks) and it stank up the whole cart.

Haha agreed. Whenever either of these things happen I just CHARGE past these offenders so they feel my force and potentially get accidentally bonked by my bag on my way out.
