Help me find this, please.

I have a picture of what I want in my mind, but have no idea where to find it.

I want a super low profile coffee table. Dark, dark wood. Kind of like Japanese dining table style. You know, the kind where people sit on the floor to eat on. Something like this, but I don't like how thick the legs look.

seriously, every trendy place has a style of a low slung coffee table.

I've seen an almost exact copy of the last one somewhere about a year ago. I haven't been trendy furniture shopping in awhile.

Really? All the reasonably priced furniture places are too far away. I don't own a car, so I can't spend a day driving around. Purpose of this post was for someone to tell me which furniture place I should check out. That way I can plan ahead and get a ride.

I should probably have stated that I don't want to spend a lot, so most dt stores are out of the question.

^ yeah, the reason i need something super low profile is that there isn't much space in my living room. My couch is a chaise sectional, so I need a little coffee table to fit into the rectangular/square space it creates in front of it

there's a really cool consignment shop at Pender and Hamilton or Homer I forget which but it might have something like that. did you try craigslist?

try homequarters in tinseltown, they have lots of cheaper chinese stuff, i've seen this type of table lots there
