What an awesome, bass-driven, reggae-filled day!

Got up around noon and perused the intraweb while listening to the legendary George Barret pumping out his regular awesome selection of rockers (cItr 101.8fm Sun Noon-3).

Got a call from a bud around 2 asking if I wanna head over to the Caribbean Days Fest by Lonsdale Quay.

HELL'S YEAH!!!

Some good roti and some passable jerk chicken, listening to dancehall/raggamuffin on the N side of the tracks. Went into the garden for a couple of drinks.

Got back, buddy split, and I wandered into a screening of "Rocksteady: Birth of Reggae" @ Granville 7.

Damn!

It was hard to stay in my seat at some points, the music was SO good! And I mean, it sounded pretty DAMN good! They photographed the recording sessions. The originals re-doing their 60's hits.

Now, as I type, I'm listening to sky.fm's reggae station (best rockers on the web, kids!)

If your day was even a fraction as good as mine, then, you're doing damn fine!
