What's odd is the US, one of the laxest counties in terms of gun laws, actually has this in place already.

So X's beef has to do more with, the probability of needing a flak and having that accessability to use one... Fair enough, but I'm sure a little piece of legislation can't prevent you from picking one up. Hey if all of a sudden people start getting shot in large numbers by a crazed terrorist group, and ur running around wearing teflon trying to save ur baby, I don't think the fuss is going to stop you.

On the on the other its not like people will be concerned if their bullet proof vest looks better with low-cuts or dunks.

Point is, it was never a right to begin with and to burry it in "red tape" lol as you put it, makes this argument pretty redundant. What else could you argue?

There are tons of terms that are often misused by the public, but everyone knows what they mean. I suspect the reason you are getting worked up so much over something stupid like me calling a "Magazine" a "clip" is you don't actually have an argument to state, you saw an opportunity to bring up your knowledge of guns and went for it.

You own guns, great. I don't think this suddenly means you have "Life experience".
