but theres so many buses that go to the airport anyhow..i dont think it would make that much of a diffrence...plus im sure the majority of peeps that go from the city to the airport either take a taxi or get someone to drive them....

If you're going 2 the airport it would be a pain 2 take all your luggage and stuff on the skytrain in my opinion. But, I guess it's the same with buses. A skytrain through there would prevent a lot of people going through rush hour traffic. I dunno, there's positives and negatives 4 both sides. I'm undecided....:047:

I think it's really funny that all these people along Cambie are so caught up trying to save their blvd. Running the sky train out to Richmond will help all of us enjoy cleaner air and a fast transit link to the airport. I wonder why these same people wouldn't do something like try and save a rain forest?

werd party at my place if the skytrain comes to richmond

fuck it takes forever to bus anywhere..all you ppl who i meet up with weekends and weekends... thank me for trekin out there!

from my place to granville station = approx. an hour and 5 mins
from my place to 22nd station= an hour... then skytrain time to whereever i need to go.

its okay i got my N yesterday so i can drive! =) yay

but with a skytrain it would make everything much more convinient and actually change the asian population in richmond up a bit.

its my fault that i live in the furthest corner of richmond though...damn me. but steveston's gorgeous so i love it here.

am i actually right for once? or was that sarcasm?.. i can't tell anymore...fnk ppl are too sarcastic. sorry.

my opinion it would change up because its a form of transportation...one of the most convinient one in the lower mainland. blah blah blah.. i dont wanna start generalizing about asian ppl.. but its common sense to me. helps transport and move different races around the lower mainland more instead of it becoming completely beep beep bling bling car driving asians.

screw that

i don't want a skytrain because it means even more bums and whores in richmond

but it'd be nice to clear up some traffic

where's the route planned for?

beh..i don't really care, i can afford to drive everywhere and i have vowed to never take public transit on even a semi regular basis, so to me its a non issuse...however i do support it, mainly because i see the potential ina people mover liek that, the line runs through a largely valueless(land value) industrial area in south vancouver and richmond, the potential for development there is tremendous. if i had somemoney i would buy a couple of those wharehouses near a proposed station and turn it into highrises, townhouses and a marina, just around the time of the olympics. cuz even tho its all industrial and shit its still a pretty nice place, especially if you get a lot right next to the river.

(^) Would you take tranist on a regular basis if it was as good as some of the systems in Europe... 24/7 trains every 5 minutes and highly subsidized making it very inexpensive?
