Partykid Hangouts?

is there any places in Vancouver that partykids meet up and hang out? I moved here 5 months ago and all the friends I've made are ALWAYS too busy to just chill out with me! :(
so I was wondering if there's a place where people chill out and meet new kidz in the scene?

going to raves and making rave type friends is a good start
then slowly turn them from a "omg I was so high" friend into a real friend outside raves, and you meet some good people.

I know on weekends or usually before parties ect.. ravers enjoy meeting on the steps of the art museum downtown. (usually robson side) also a great place to aquire pot downtown, but thats another thred..

also check the memebers section here on fnk. people are always posting new meetings, sports, or something un-rave to do in their non-rave part of life.

if all else fails, start a raver message board. I have met atleast a hundred if not two hundred kids off here in the last three years. (maybe 15 of them I remember their real names)

werd, thanks for respondinz yall, I kinda figured the museum steps were a hangout cuz I've gone by there and there's been partykids
I dunno bout the whole "I'm so high" people, I tend to not hang out with too many of those cuz usually I'm not anywhere near to being high on anything :D
I'm one of those jaded "oldskool" kids LoL, at least as "oldskool" as u can get being a Kamloops partier
I think I've been to a whole ONE massive, out of the hundred-and-whatever parties I've been to over the years
but ya, meetin new people would b kool, I like havin friends that do stuff :D

Anyone ever get so bored that they hang out at Timmy H's in Nu West at 3 in the morning? I wander through there all the time and can swear that there are Raver-lookin' faces (no offense) strewn about the place.... sitting in different corners of the place... lookin' suspiciously at each other.

heh, yeh, I get what you mean. people always assume that of me too. I just moved here from Nelson 5 months ago and all the people I've been meeting are totally diff than the crowd I'm used to.

but yah maybe just start chatting people up on here. I have been partying for a bit now but i think i have met more people from being on fnk in the last couple months than i did from partying. so yah just get to know ppl here and come to a couple of the meets i think thats the best way.

FnK hangouts are pretty tite :) You can meet a lot of cool people there.

go to the library, and get a book called HOW TO BE A RAVER 101. I think it lists general hangouts for them in the back somewhere.
