i have yet to find a scone that isn't the slightest bit chalky dry. tried the starbucks ones and still searching...

you know what is good and moist at starbucks?

totally not pumpkin, and not scones, but ..

the soy bannana fruit muffin, ...you probly would like that if you dont like dry?

mmm, i had an uber moist blueberry muffin yesterday at this bakery down the street from my house. i don't mind a certain degree of dry...a lot of low fat baking is somewhat dry and i don't mind it. but i don't like it when it's so chalky that you have to chug back a hot drink to wash it down.

eck. speaking of dry, this conversation reminds me of rez food last year. they overcooked the meat SO badly that you had to wash it down with some liquid to be able to swallow it without choking on it.
