Just chillin.. sittin here watchin much more music retro night....

blue monday... prince.... new edition.... wow.....it doesnt seem like it was that long ago that i was dancing around in my room to these groups... and now i realize it was almost 20 years ago.....
im getting old! :soak:

i do however LOVE the style this year with all the retro, punk. rocker 80's look in style... i think its crazy phun! lots of fun colors and styles.... i shouldve just saved all my clothes from when i was little... lol.... i couldve worn them all again this year.... :p

ya when i was 17 .. i fuckin hated the 80's and was so bitter having to grow up in them... but them i turned 19 and went to 80's night all the time and loved it cause i knew the words to all the songs and shit...

i fucking love the style too! so much funfun!!

i was eleven when the eighties ended. all i can remember is bionic 5 and mr. telephone man. going back to rediscover some years later through my sister's record collection, i realized how fucking awesome the Smiths, Happy Mondays and Gang of Four were. i wouldn't lay claim to having any idea how great they were at the time though.

as you were toddler, i doubt you'd remember much more than i do, but maybe you had jordache diapers...?

just because something is trendy and in style doesnt mean u have to like it. The whole style of that "bohemian" look they had last year/the yr b4... i HATED.. i have my own personal preferences and tastes on style.. just because everyone is wearin doesnt mean im gonna run of and wear it too.. if i like something i will wear it..i really dont give 2 shits about what others think... i find the 80's style really fun and colorful.... i like colors & fun fashion...hence...probably why i like it.

it's allright tho, we're all sheep in a way...just some slower then others

off the walls spring lycra collection has tons of that bright 80's crap you love....fluorescent yellow, bright blue, hot pink!
hit up thrift stores...it's full of true 80's junk

whitelies is bunk, the crowd it brings most weeks are all wankers...i still go tho, they play all the classic 80's and then some in the main room, with oldschool hip hop in the other room...the hip hop room is the best ever!!!!!!!!
there's also 80's night at the plaza on thursdays as well...but they play more the brit 80's crap, which isn't as trendy as your beloved madonna and safety dance obsession
there's a couple more that are actually still bareable..
