its not like anyone won or lost the "battle" it was a series of opinions.... some good ones i might add.. its just interesting to see how people think about cetain issues... and what stance people take.... like i said before... i would have been all about the "save the people" ordeal.. but i took a different view on the whole thing... the future of everything... having extinct animals fucks alot of shit up... so IMO it would be a better choice to invest more into something that can be saved/changed... cause there will ALWAYS no matter what.... be starving people in the world...... there is nothing that can be done... harsh but true. :(
protecting the environment and wildlife is the key to our survival in the future... or were pretty much screwed.

I'd rather put my efforts towards educating those in India MAKING the starving babies than save the starving babies. If they used contraceptives and stopped having so many babies, it wouldn't be over-populated and there would be food for everyone.
Trying to save everyone doesn't work in the long run. There is a reason people die, there is a reason Panda bears die too. Without population control, even more people will suffer because there won't be enough reasources for us. I understand the bleeding heart need to help people but sometimes it causes more harm than good. Educate, then save. I feel people need to focus more on saving our race, than saving people. I choose to take care of my loved ones, and I believe in donating to further medicine technology because without advanced medical technology I wouldn't have my girlfriend. I believe in saving the young, and letting the elderly die when their time is right. But India has problems bigger than starving children. I believe the solution to poverty is more than just more resources, it's a need for less people too. And the Pandas.. I'd let em go. They're cute as can be yes, but nature evolves and species don't live forever, just like humankind won't. Heck, I'd say we're towards the end of our time here.
