My Sis works for Tim Ho's... and yah, I think they're brought in from Toronto or some damn thing like that. ZAP DONE! I've gone to the Krispy Kreme here... albeit at 2:30am and it was only a 15 minute wait. :) So tasty goodness... sticky sweet... oh... yah, Krispy Kremes... they're good too!

NEWSFLASH: Wendy's Restaurant Conglomerate ACQUIRES Canadian Tim Hortons

Then there is Tim Hortons, a Canadian household name. Since 1964 when the first Tim Hortons franchise opened in Hamilton, Canadians have viewed it as a Canadian institution.
But people may not have noticed that in 1995, the coffee chain merged with an American company, Wendy’s International Inc.
Maybe they’ve just forgotten. Tim Hortons is still perceived as a Canadian darling, and their advertising emphasizes their long community-based history.
But Timmy’s is no longer ours. While the merger with Wendy’s was well publicized, the reality of American ownership of a Canadian icon has fallen off our collective radar. Most Canadians have become apathetic to the nationalistic element of shopping, because they either simply don’t care, or because they are easily deceived by the little tricks companies play to construct a perception of Canadianism.
damn you corporate america!!! damn you!
takin away our pride and donuts!!

did you try putting them in the microwave for about 12 seconds? they say 8, but 12 works better. then it tastes almost as good as when it's fresh out of the lard pool. melts in your mouth. try that with a donut from timmy hos, and you will see why they get all that attention.

the funny thing about timmy's is that they've been expanding down south for a number of years. oddly enough, instead of being a bastion of gathering for the blue collar working class, timmys' are big with yuppies down there.
