Why FNK is better then Clubvibes...

well here on fnk u can get away with a WHOLE hell of a lot more,as opposed to cv.
cv is run rampant with people who take hip hop WAY too seriously.
the cv creative forum is good tho,people actually give constructive criticisim as opposed to here where nothing goes much further than some grade school rebuttal&a raver gangsta crew all up in yo gril werded.
cv has way 2 much drama.
cv is run by communists.

hey rascally, don't believe for a second that I'm not appreaciative of all the promotions CV does for the cities and clubs within.
It's just honestly a friendlier atmosphere in here. :p

clubzone is no community really, just annouces events.
Although they knew about ferry corsten way before Clubvibes had any clue.

Having been frequenting both sites since the first month or so of their existance, I have seen a lot of changes:

Heres a few of my comparisons:

- fnk's server is usually faster than cv's (theres so many users on cv the server cant handle the bandwith half the time.)

-fnk has classic arcade games, wich is way cool

- I am old so i will add that cv doesnt make me feel like quite the dinosaur that this site does

- Both sites are equally immature in a lot of ways

- The lounge forum on cv is full of attention mongers and useless posts that annoy me to my wits end to the point where i wont go in there

- cv's sports forum is usually pretty informative and entertaining

-cv's music section used to be good then it went tits up fast

- cv is great for event listings as people have said

- fnk is good for events as well as personal promos

- all the boy/girl excitable sex gossip on fnk just doesnt do it for me(again nothing personal , just an age issue)


- but at the end of the day lx will always live as the best, and now i like to go with vwdov.ca.....even though its not music or club oriented :P

Actually, we have plenty of bandwidth and that's not the issue at all. We're also in the process of installing some new servers to handle the load. Things have sped up considerably already in the past few weeks.

What the fuck,,, has any one looked about at the parties now a days, things are looking more and more like clubvibes around here then ever. It's kinda sad the number of brainless shallow people about here.

Fuck small so called under ground raves these days is looking more and more like going to the World. And don't get me started about the large parties.

About the only difference I see between the two sites is that I find more topics I'd like to share my opinions on here in FnK. ClubVibes I tend to just throw out the odd quip here and there if the topic hasn't already been overrun by the usual assortment of post whores (YOU KNOW WHO THEY ARE!!!).

I think www.swiftproductions.com is slowly taking over CV Victoria...the member base is growing daily and there is event info top40 related and electronica related...and its a lot cleaner. I think Im the only one to instigate an argument on there so far (what a surprise :o ) but give it time I suppose eh?!

CV Van is pretty bad drama wise...but you should see when we get all riled up on www.ravevictoria.com :| omi

Anywho I enjoy all the forums I am currently a part of...which also includes www.fatkats.net , and www.420kru.com/

Like has already been stated i dont think you can compare CV and Fnk...they are totally different worlds :)

I don't understand why this topic keep popping up every so often. I do admire the fact that our user base champions the site but lets get a grip as FNK, CV, or whatver board is just a message board!

Each board has its good points and bad points and are directed at different demographics in the party scene.

As the world turns this issue will be forgotten and then rehashed once again when yet another new user likens one board over another.

Just keep in mind that everyone is here for the same purposes: friendship and to have fun.

So lets stop the bashing and get on with our daily dose of irrelevance.

Basically, our meetings consist of heading to events and getting messed up beyond belief.

Hey, it's all for a good cause. Sure, I'm a supporter of the site I run, but I'm a huge supporter of fnk as well. It's all towards the scene. Everything we do helps the scene grow and prosper in general.

I mean, look at the Stanton Warriors the other night. They were AMAZED that R3 put an event to gether in what...8 hours? And packed the place? And the advertising was on CV and FNK, and by word of mouth. And now they have a much better opinion of Vancouver.

It's all for a common goal.
