I saw the fight. It was brutal and there was like 30 people involved in it. I thought it was funny. Then one guy got arrested but he was so fucked up that he was still smiling when he was being dragged away.

my girlfriend and i were really close. when someone was being escorted i had to push her outta the way from being knocked over. I love how the security just wants to get em the fuck outta there. It kinda ruined my night for a bit, cause i thought that was just the beginning.

there were 2 main promoters for this event on this board... and they got stuck with fake tickets... i'm pretty sure they were as authorized as the ticket dealers kuz i'm sure they GAVE the tickets to the "authorized ticket dealers"

Agreed with Jenna!

Many fake tickets were purchased from authorized dealers. These people were not being "dumb" it was not their fault in any way.

what i wanna know is how the security was checking for fakes, they werent using bar code scanners............thus leading me to believe that once they hit capacity they were just turning away random ticket holders. im not saying this is true im just asking how they knew which tickets were real, and which were fake if they had no real way of telling.

Adam, I was wondering the same thing.. especially with the huge amount of tickets they were checking. Holding two up side by side and looking at them with a flashlight, and then saying "oh that one's fake"? It just seems odd...

Nat, normally I would agree with you about people buying tickets from authorized dealers, but the whole scandal with the fake tickets is that they WERE purchased from authorized dealers. You probably didn't see Kraig's post in the Lounge about what happened.. check it out. There's a full police investigation and all that jazz.

once again... BARCODES MEAN SHIT.

they're about as secure as printing the ticket's number on the front of it. which, coincidentally, is exactly what they do.
