OFFICAL RELEASE FROM TWISTED PRODUCTIONS

Hi everyone... per my previous post regarding this issue, myself and
Twisted have committed to keep you informed as to the progress of the
investigation on the Grand Finale counterfit ticket issue.

Here are a few things:

1.) As mentioned before, the Plaza of Nations themselves have launched a
full investigation with the Vancouver Police Department. Fraud at this
scale is "Grand Fraud" and is a felony punishable by jail time. This is a
serious matter, and will be dealt with seriously. If Twisted feels this
investigation does not yield results within 1-2 weeks time, Twisted will
take it upon itself and its own expense to launch an investigation
alongside the Vancouver Police to ensure the guilty parties are caught in
a timely basis.

2.) We have confirmed that ALL of the tickets provided by Azim/Twisted
Productions and our legitimate ticket sellers (like Bebu*FunFun) were
real tickets. -- All of these people had no problem in getting into the
party (capacity issues aside not related to the ticket issue).

3.) I would encourage that any one who purchased or who currently has a
counterfit ticket, do a bit of discovery and find out who the ticket was
purchased from. If you are currently in possession of a counterfit
ticket, please inform us or the Plaza of Nations immediately (the number
there is 604-682-0777) as every ticket will help our investigation. -- To
further, please inform us as well as to who you purchase your ticket from
directly.

4.) Twisted Productions has been throwing parties/club nights long before
the Plaza of Nations was even a venue and long before most production
companies in the scene today started throwing parties! In no way would a
crime of this magnitude benefit Twisted. A lot of events are planned for
Twisted in the coming year which is why we are taking the lead and
ensuring that a full and proper investigation is completed and ultimately,
the guilty parties are brought forward.

Yes and for those of you that came up to me asking if the tickets I sold you were legit, Yes they were, I got them from Azim. ( as you can tell since you all got in).

And all my future tickets will come from Azim too. :)

Despite the fact that I wasn't involved in going to the party, buying a ticket, or anything else I definitely have to give Twisted props for standing up and doing something about it. The rave scene is notorious for shady dealing and cancelled parties and overall.... ripping people off. Despite all of this Twisted still does it the right way and runs it like a business..... just like any other business.

Thanks for the comment dude... At the end of the day, every one of you have a right to know what's going on. As Twisted, nor any of its employees had absolutely nothing to do with this issue, we are doing everything in our power to assist with the investigation and provide whatever information is needed through-out the investigation.

Kraig its good to see you and Azim stepping and actually doing something of this magnitude. Since this is grand fraud we're talking about the monetary value involved in this theft is greater then $5000. Based on what i have seen with my own eyes - someone walked away with a serious amount of cash ripping off quite a few people.

I'd like to know where the official spokesmen are for Solid Corp right now? Where is there statement? It doesnt take an idiot to see that the only ones coming to the defence of Solid right now - are those that are on the 'Solid promotion team'. What do Mike, Ben, Stan and Jimmy have to say about this? I'm quite surprised that you have neither shown support of this investigation or made your own statement online.

Wasn't there a third group throwing this event too? It would be a smart move for all the promoters to step up to Twisted's level and deal with this issue seriously.

Plaza of Nations and Masterplan productions were involved with the event as well. But neither these two entities have ties to this industry the way that Solid and Twisted do. PON is just the space, and Masterplan is all the goodies inside. Neither have the promotion machine to make an event like this succeed with out the support of the other two.

I just want to say that it is an extreme shame that a situation like this has arisen from a party that started off with all the good intentions in the world. I appreiciate Twisted Productions continued follow up with this matter as the raving community should be kept informed with the right information and not left to speculate on their own. Thanks again Kraig. With the VPD and The Plaza of Nations using it's full influence this situation will be resolved. I know the Plaza staff fairly well and when they set their minds on a goal they usually achieve it and thier goal right now is to find whomever is responsible for causing this aggrevation. Lets get to the bottom of this and put it to rest with the Plaza.

P.S. I work for Masterplan Productions and our involvment with this event was on a technical level only being sound, lighting, lasers, video, staging. At no point in time did Masterplan or any of it's employees have any involvment with Ticket distribution or sales. We at Masterplan just wanted to close out the Plaza of Nations in style and in a way we only know how.

i think the whole point has already been addressed by Darren. The heads of Solid are not allowed to make any statements. Thats much different then saying they are choosing not too. You're only making the situation worse by saying something when you have no authority to say anything. If you're not a part of Solid Corp then why say something in the first place? Maybe just stick to handing out flyers, kiddo.
