That is the thing Gia. I went to NYE and it turns out that there was no one new there at all. The same hip-hop group, and the same "dancers". There were acually less dancers becuase Cole's boys weren't there and most of the other peeps. I ended up just groovin' all night. Only busted out some bboy stuff for like 5 mins. :( NYE was kinda bunk for dancers *THAT I SAW*. I might get raped for that comment, but I stand by it.

Both have dancers; good, bad, shitty, horrible, awesome, and alright. Why wouldn't someone want to know who everyone thinks is the top dancers in the vancity rave scene. It give oppertunity to get their names out and notify people of who to watch, and possibly learn from. Are you even in the "breaker" scene?

No, the breaker scene would involve bboy's and bgirl's expressing themselves through funk, soul, battle breaks, and various other styles of music. Becuase you listen to "breaks" doesn't mean you are in the breaker scene. That is the most retarded comment I have ever heard.

I haven't seen anyone dance in a long time. But hmmm, I always thought Natalie was a good dancer.

thats funny this post is still going.....lol...my fave dancers are the ones in my crew 7knights and my fav lil bboy that will destroy anyone in this city is bboy casper.......then all my girls tiff ,kimmie,bonnie,angela,tara, lilo bboy dustin,lil bri fuck the list goes on there are so many dope dancers that ar partying lately......and for the girld why you alll so scared to learn to bgirl.....these girls i have mentioned are training and learning from us.....theres some dope mrec dancers also.....but all i gotta say is 7knights crew always rocks the parties and has dope circles going on at most events and clubs....props to everyone in my crew and everyone that loves dancing there is so many styles and art forms...peace....

I agree that originality is hard to come by, but perhaps you said what I meant better. That making it your own is when it looks really good. No one is going to be entirely original... I know I pick up new stuff each time I'm out, depending on who I'm out dancing with, and what style of music - all kinds of things/people influence me!

I'm afraid I don't understand what you're saying about not being able to dance if you can feel the music... I though that feeling the beat was was dancing was about. Hmm...

And no where in my post did I say that attitude had to be in a negative or condescending/cocky context! Attitude doesn't hafta be bad or even big. Perhaps personality is a better word? I just mean attitude and confidence are things I notice when I see a dancer who's "doing their thing". Who's more interesting to watch, a dancer who's shy and nervous about what they're doing and very self-conscious, or someone who is letting themselves have a good time and their personality/attitude show thru.

And the Wiggles quote u stated is a good one :)

7knights crew is still around.......and we will be at the next bboy battle.....we just dont rep are name as hard as we used to....cause we dont really neeed to...and we are more trying to focus and are clothing line more than anything are crew isnt really out there to be noticed....and there is only really 7 of us that form 7knights......the rest are just crew...............ya drop me your msn so we can all jam soon......peace...

I took your post to be directed at me bc you quoted me at the beginning. Hard to tell where your response to me ends and where your general post on the topic begins.
