A little update on this situation
since the last time this was announced...
Microcell's stock has soard 48%
meaning... a lot of ppl jumped on the bandwagon of microcell when they heard this.
orginally fido's stock was around 20.. it's gone up to 31
so it's above telus's over.. meaning.. telus's offer is now worthless...
also meaning.
Microcell and Telus... and who knows maybe even bell may want some.... are all goign to be in for a bidding war soon.
this is just starting to get intresting.
a lot of people made money today .... wish I had the money to invest... blah.
for those who do have money... tomorrow will be another good day for stockholders.

all doesn't really effect me. i was going to switch over to fido when i first moved out cause i don't have a land line anymore, but i decided not to cause breaking my rogers contract, paying initial hook up fees with fido etc., it just made it not worth it for me. well, it would have been worth it in the long run cause i spend a LOT on my monthly bill, but the cs rep offered me 6 months of unlimited airtime on 45 bucks a month. it's working out great for me cause i can wait the 6 months and either have to only pay for 2 months for breaking my contract, or just ride those two months out and then sign up somewhere else.
