Recommendation on Needles

I know it's been asked before, but couldn't find it anywhere. I'm looking to buy a new pair of upper-end needles that can also scratch. I spin prog/breaks. Also any recommendations on stores that I can purchase these as well.

THnx
Kevin

I've been really happy with Ortofon and Shure Whitelabels.

I recommend buying music gear at Long & McQuade. They have great prices, they have a financing option if necessary, and the guy in the DJ department (Brian) at the Granville/7th L&M is very nice and helpful.

From my experience, Tom Lee Music is a complete rip-off. Their 'blow-out sale' prices are still higher than Long & McQuade's regular prices. In addition, their staff weren't helpful to me at all when I asked them questions, and they had an attitude like it was a bother for them to help me.

Hope this helps!

one other question for the Ortofon needles, what difference does it make to get the one that comes with the headshell and one without?
