Oriental/asian import stores in Granville or hastings area?

Any suggestions?
If you can't think of any off the top of your head, maybe you can help me by telling me how the hell I get to China town by transit. I haven't been there since my grade 3 class went there on a field trip. Help!

What I'm looking for is a place that sells wooden fans and parasouls/umbrellas. If you know of a place that sells bamboo products, that might help too.

Take the Skytran to Stadium and hoof it 6 blocks through Tinseltown and you'll be at the edge of Chinatown.

always make sure to haggle!

and if u get off at stadium go up the stairs instead of down them then take ur immediate right to the exit where theres lots of stairs then to the left of all the stairs is more stairs leading u to an alley that will take u to pender. Take a right onto pender and youll see the entrance to china town.

Dont mind the crack heads they mean well.

There are a bunch of knicknack stores in the heart of Chinatown that sell what you are looking for.

Just make sure you chow down on a fresh egg tart if you are in the area today! :)

yes a woman came through my work with this cute little parasol and she said she got it from some bamboo store in china town for 9.99! too cute I want some too.

Winston, the whole animals hung in the window thing always creeped me out a bit, but I'll be sure to chow down while i'm there.

Lindsay, they are cute as hell! And I'm anti-sun so I figured a nice, pretty little parasoul was much nicer than an ugly umbrella. Not to mention they are a great prop for photoshoots etc. At 9.99 I'm going to have to get one to match every outfit!
