my mom told me yesterday that she heard only 16 percent of British Columbians are smokers.

and we're talking just cigarettes here.

ps. judging by how many times i get asked for smokes at a rave, i'm guessing that 15 of that 16 percent go to raves.

u surprised cause u think 16% is less then the number u thought? when im out i see alot of people smoking as well. but think about how many you see that dont. 16 out of every 100 people smoking makes pretty good sense imo.

yeah when you put it like that it sounds more right. i guess since i am a smoker i just notice the people smoking more. like when you own a certain car and you always spot people with the same car as you.

i used to smoke for a short period of time but i quit. once and while i might smoke if im out drinking with buddies but besides that i dont touch tobacco.

i cant stand tobacco smoke, i think it smells like ass... but once and while it's hard to resist. it's completely true when they say that nicotine is the most addictive drug.

^i think also because smoking is a really social thing. so you relate it to certain things and that enforces the habit.

like smoking while drinking, or with a certain friend or after dinner.

I dont smoke cigarettes but I smoke a Colt here and there when im drunk or really stoned, just for the flavour and whatnot, but as for actual smoking, no.

my friends used to do that in highschool.

they'd stare me down because i was smoking a cigarette and then whip out the colts for themselves and light up.
