Scratched ID

How many of you people here had/have scratched ID's? For example, you or someone else changed '86 to '80 on your ID so you could get into 19+ events or clubs.

heres a general rule, scratched id's dont work if you are ugly and/or have a penis.

ps: clubs were invented so people over 19 didnt have to hangout with underaged kids.
for the sake of the rest of us, please stick to raves.

Here in Kelowna, they work just fine... I just have to get mine. Underrage girls get in all the time here, with no ID needed.

If you conduct yourself in a mature manner, there should be no problem. I'm 18... several months makes shouldn't make any difference.

thats kelowna though. most places in vancouver arent hurting for business, they can afford to turn you away.

Yeah for sure, I know what you're saying. I'm just lookin to see who has/had, just curious.
I just want to get one for the time being untill I am 19. I'll be heading out to Calgary a lot this Winter, so I won't need it. I wont really have to worry about Vancouver.

I find it's easyer to just get someone elses real id that looks kind of like you. But then again I don't know if that works as well for guys.

Scratched ID's are very iffy ...

When everything is said and done therez a few noticalbe bumps which make the change noticable.

Even getting an older brother's or sister's ID would be best, but I am the oldest, so... damn.

Yeah, I know for sure. I think where you would REALLY have to worry about that are the liquor stores. They seem to study them more there.

Again, I'm in Kelowna, they are obviously going to be more lax then any club in Van.

scratched IDs dont work... i've seen soo many people get their ID torn up by a bouncer... they know exactly what to look for and they always catch them... unless your a hot underaged girl.. then they work

the easiest way is to get someone else's ID.. i've seen ones that look soooo bad nothing like the person yet they always work

Nope ...

You should worry about it alot more @ clubs.

Most liquer stores are pretty slack!

They just glance at your ID :

They dont really feel it ETC.

yup, when I go, they look at the 85 year, half the time they dont look at the picture and look at you to see if its actually you..

clubs, they are more picky, espically downtown..

Hmm, seems to be different here in Kelowna. The entire population of 18 year olds here seem to have a scratched ID and get in no problem.

I went to college in Kelowna and was 18 when I started there. Back then (around 2000 - 2001) they had college night at one of the bars (formerly called Gotchas), and if you had your college ID you got in with no cover. I used that all the time when I went out with everyone while I was underage. The college ID had your pic but no age. The bouncers just assumed you were of age with it. It helps if you go with older people too. But mind you that was back then before they started asking for 2 pieces of ID and really started cracking down.

i rarely hang out at top 40 clubs. very rarely. but when i do go out to one i never see underage kids getting their drink on. it's hard for them to get in since they started cracking down on 2 pieces of ID rather than one.

now you gotta find two fugly people that look just like you.... that's no fun.

i usualy check out underground events at underground type clubs... chances of a underage teenie boppers looking fo fitty cent and some bacardi are slim.

It's still called Gotchas.

They must have been really lax back then, or they are just doing the same thing now, cause really, they havn't cracked down on anything.
