hmmm...

yeah those ears are cool. in such movies as lord of the rings and...okay, well that's it.

i mean, go ahead and do what you want to do, but i think people bring up a good point here when they say do you really want to have pointy elf ears when you're 87 years old and playing bingo and bridge with your other grey-haired friends on rainy sunday mornings?

as long as you've put a hella lot of thought into this, i say go ahead. but think think think.

did you know people who are born with 'elf' ears usually get made fun of, so they have surgery to correct it back to normal ears?

i dont know why ud wanna go from normal to elf..... that's pretty dumb

i dunno....maybe you should heed some of the advice.
this sounds like one of those "it seemed like a good idea at the time" things. that said. a year is a long time from now, so if you wait that long...and put significant thought into it...and you still actually want to...then all the power to you.
you may want to consider insurance of some sort. you know. just in case.
