This guy fell off of our front door when we were going out one night - we sprayed that sucker with half a can of Central-America-Strength RAID (and trust me, it's WAY nastier than any bug killing shit you can buy up here), and the roach still took like 15 minutes to die. We could see it breathing. I don't like being able to see bugs breathing.

Yuckiest thing about roaches - never, ever step on a roach. See, apparently something like 80% of all cockroaches are female, and they spend most of their lives pregnant... so you step on a roach, you get roach goo (likely full of eggs) all over your shoes... then you track that back into your house... ew.

I was hiking in the woods back home one day and was looking back to talk to my brother. I turned around just in time to see a huge spider on a web right in front of my face...Problem was, I was in mid-stride and my face went right through the web and the spider thus not only putting the spider in the center of my face but also trapping it there by its own web...Not a pleasant experience...
