i've been thinking about travelling for some time so why not go when the world cup is on?

tix for the cup are not needed but if we could attend one game that would be rad.

Other games will be watched at the pub drinking german beer and socializing with germans.

Then ofcourse we hit up the clubs for hardcore and techno.

me and 3 buddies are going.

tickets for games are actually not that expensive, for the round robin play, the ghetto tickets are 35 euros. that's pretty damn cheap if ya ask me.

I was in Sydney living with 2 Irish flatmates and one pomie (english dude) while the 2002 world cup was going on.

WOW what an experince just in a city like Sydney. To just watch the games in the pubs with real English, Irish, Sweeds, Spanish, Brazilans, Germans Koreans.. etc etc... I cant imagine how much fun it would be to be anywhere in Europe for it in 2006!

I do plan to go live in Scotland in the next year or so as I work on my citizen ship. I wont be far away ;)
