FNK Hockey @ GM Place?

Last spring a number of my friends and I were looking into rent an hour of Ice Time at GM Place and it was gonna be something like $600 or $700 for the hour so we never did it but I figure if we can get enough interested people who are willing to put up cash maybe we can score somekinda deal cause there is no NHL hockey but one thing is for sure the more people that want to do it the cheaper it would be for all involved, if intersted leave a post or PM me. what a waste..... playin in an nhl rink doesn't make u a superstar... all you're doing is flushin money down the toilet

1 Hour session at GM PLace $600/22 skaters = $30 bucks per person.

A 2 hour session anywhere else is 10 bucks a head.... sometimes cheaper

So expensive what time.

At planet at ice at like 3 or 4am its like way cheaper like 200 -300 for 2 hours . we did it before

Ya i agree with everyone. Me and my friends rented out planet ice and it was like less than 10 bucks cause we had 25 people.

plus even with 60 people thats like 10 bucks a person if you can get 60 people interested ain't gonna happen.

and its for the hour. planet ice it like 250 for like 2 hours

I don't know for sure how much the ice costs for an hour I need to talk to my friend who spearheaded the idea when me and my friends had it last spring to see who I have to talk to and stuff and see if I can work something out it could be as cheap as like $400 or $500

No it's not its longer and wider. Do you really think that they would have a community centre rink at a NHL level?

And thats what it would be about I mean you can go anywhere and rent ice or play open hockey but not everyone gets to play hockey on the same ice as so many NHL greats

Also, undecided.. where the hell do you think the NHL "stars" practice..... i've seen tons of stars including Lemieux and Gretzky practice down at 8-rinks.

I've skated on that ice like a hundred times belive me i've skated on the GM Place ice there is nothing like it

OMG 30 BUCKS PER PERSON, THAT IS EXTRAVAGANT.

Fuck, if I could skate or play hockey worth a damn I'd be all over that. Not like you need to make it your regular rink.. just a one off experience.

If you always go for the cheaper option in life you're going to be very bored. And boring.
