thats insane it only cost like 72 bucks to rent the ice at my rink, fuck gm place go to a normal rink and rent the ice for 10 hours :)

^ no kidding eh.

its not worth it especially considering there will be no NHL PRO's playing on GM PLACE this year or at least for awhile.

Last season I rented GM place with some friends.....yeah It cost alot but it was awsome and well worth the experience. FYI the ice there is possibly the best surface i've ever played on!
I'm not sure if I will pay the same price as I did again ( i paid about $50...for 3 hours...it cost about $1000 for 3 hours:P ). I was sorta a one time experience.

For $20-30 I would do it again though

When the stands are completely empty it's really not that exciting... it's just a rink after all.

I've skated on the Ice at GM Place 3 times Once as a ref for a Mini-minor game, once at a pre-game skate kinda thing and once with the rink empty as part of a coaching clinic it's not as fun without the sold out crowd but it's still more fun then the local rink

I'd be down. But not at GM Place. Let's rent a rink that's a little more reasonable on everyone's wallet.
