I look at glostix at raves, like creative posters at WWE wrestling events. They're just there to make people feel more involved. They're just safety lights for god sake. the only reason why someone said they're not cool anymore, or played out, or it's soooo 2000, is because some putz came along and said it was uncool, and someother putz decided to listen and HE told all of his friends and they didn't know better anyway. So the rumor that glosticks aren't cool anymore got around. That was probably the death of the glostick.

Same thing happened to the phrase PLUR, fun fur and like things.. Noobs in the scene get to be around for long enough, that all of the elements become out-dated. i'm just waiting for the day for lasers and flyers to be a uncool and a thing of the past.
