a question about t3s...

so im on them right now, i've had them before..

and i notice one thing in particular...i get REALLY itchy from them...

i wanna know...does anyone else get this?
is it normal?

or could it be a possibly allergy to codine?

I would call that a probable allergic reaction to codine. No one I know has ever had such a reaction.

i mean its annoying...but i dont know if its serious...

Itching isn't a major issue but it's not normal.

you're having an allergic reation to the contents of the pill. Yes go see your doctor about it, it could get worse.

edit: my brother had the same experience with morphine, after a certain amount dosage your body cant handle it enough and you basically go into a coma. Luckily they found this out before somethin happend. Soooo.... go call your doctor :p

the itchyness could be from other things! like my allergies are CRAZY bad right now, so it could be coincidental. Do you have hives?

I'd say you should seek IMMEDIATE medical attention if your throat gets swollen and you have difficulty breathing.

Anyways, if you're worried and don't know if you should see a Dr call the BC nurse line, it's 24/7, it's free, and they are a lot of help (604) 215-4700 they'll ask for your carecard #.

hmmmmmm.......i've had them before and it never gets any worse...just super itchy..grrr...feels like my skin in crawling..although it only lasts for a few hours..

my allergies have been crazy too..but i know its def from the t3s cause it only happens an hour or so after i take them

apparently itching is a sign of allergic reaction....so i'll hafta phone the doc for sure

depends where?

if your nose is really itchy - then its the codiene and thats natural.

Ive noticed that sometimes my face gets a lil itchy, andmaybe my hands - but I dunno - I guess it depends where, if its all over that may be a problem.

but Ive had massive face/nose itches from t3's (strange, not snortin the shit, but the codiene does some fuct up things to the insides)

^^^^actually according to the nurses hotline, i AM most likely allergic to them....its not a natural thing...and you should itch...not the way im itching..

I have noticed some itching while on Codeine too, and so has one of my coworkers. Now I can't remember exactly, but I think I read somewhere that this is caused in some people who take it.

It's not necessarily an allergic reation.. for most people, pain killers cause some itching, it just makes ur skin feel all weird.. and if u take em alot, u start to feel like ur really dirty all the time... even if u shower like twice a day.. its weird.. it only happens to some people but a good majority.. i would jus call ur doc and find out. t3's are pretty mello type of pain killer, so it could be an allergy to it.

opiates can have that effect, have you ever heard of the heroin itch.

ya but everytime i take it i get more itchy than the time before..

and last night after i got off the computer i had other symptoms such as sore abdomen and extrememly dry mouth and such...nurse is pretty sure im allergic...
